Part-time Research Assistant, Zhejiang University of Technology, 2022 - 2025

• Audited the building environment of sidewalks by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery data, and established three major categories of audit items, namely pedestrian sidewalk impediment, safety, and comfort.
• Designed a virtual audit platform for sidewalk purification to generate sidewalk issues, improvement lists, and funding estimates by using a data visualization dashboard.
• Applied object detection algorithms to street view imagery to detect and aggregate the number of cyclists.
• Conducted a large-scale assessment of urban bikeability utilizing various open data sources and deep learning techniques.
• Proposed an interpretation framework to reveal the inner process of GBM, then made a comparison of the feature importance and nonlinear effects for traditional cycling and shared cycling.
